Elimize Boğaziçi Üniversitesi’nden geçen bir habere göre 24 Nisan’da “Darwin the Man” adı altında bir sempozyum düzenlenecek. (Ayrıntılar aşağıda, Türkçe-İngilizce ve İngilizce-Türkçe simultane çeviri sağlanacakmış kulaklıklarla).

7.25 pm        ‘Re‐Living Darwin’s Voyage on the Beagle’: the story of The Beagle Project, told by Dr. Karen James
7.35 pm        ‘Traces of Evolution on the Population of Turkey’: a talk by Prof. Asli Tolun on the genetic studies which reveal the diversity and history of the Turkish human population
7.50 pm        ‘Re:Design’: the Turkish premiere of a dramatisation of the correspondence between Charles Darwin and American botanist Asa Gray, performed by the Menagerie Theatre Company
8.35 pm       ‘Is Evolution Designed?’: a talk by Prof. Francisco Ayala
8.50 pm       Set‐up time for TV programme
9.00 pm       ‘Asking the Hard Questions’. A TRT televised panel discussion presented by Mithat Bereket in which a panel of experts will answer questions from the audience. On the panel: Prof. Francisco Ayala, Prof. Simon Conway Morris FRS, Prof. Asli Tolun and Dr. Ergi Deniz Özsoy.
